A nice antique fine balance made for early for lab use.  Marked Kohlbusch. Has a great cherry framed case with glass paneled walls and door.  Front door is to be counter-balanced to hold the door up enough to add or subtract weight or material, but the cords are not present so the door does not currently stay open. Has fine triangular pivot points for balancing.  It looks like it should work, but I don’t know exactly how it works so I can not speak to level of functionality.  Case looks to be largely undamaged, some wear and marking overall from age and use. The top is loose and can come off easily.  As far as I can tell inner workings look OK, but again, may not realize if something is amiss, please judge conditions from photos and ask questions if unsure.  One weight included.  Case is about 14 inches tall, 16-1/2 wide and 9-1/2 deep.  Shipping is elevated due to overall weight, package size and materials needed for safe transport.  No international shipping.Foyer/073119 – KOWe sell mostly USED and UNIQUE items.
